Summer nights in South Florida are something special, especially when they are augmented with taiko drums and a cultural backdrop that can’t be beat! Add a cold drink, a breathtaking sunset and a walking path through a tranquil garden, and you’ve got Sushi & Stroll at The Morikami! Meander through the gardens at your own pace and take advantage of our self-guided audio tour – FREE to museum members, $3 for non-members. Back by popular demand is Ronin Taiko, a taiko drumming ensemble that electrified audiences at last year’s Sushi & Stroll. The group’s powerful performance features Japanese taiko drums typically used throughout history in religious ceremonies, wartime and celebrations. Tickets to the Ronin Taiko performances are an additional $2 - performances are at 6:30pm & 7:30pm each evening.
