There’s so much to see at Morikami, and our ever-changing exhibits and gardens means there’s always something new to see, too.  We hope you’ll come visit us again and again; here’s how to make the most of your time:

Map & Directions 

The Morikami is located in Delray Beach, Florida in between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale.  We are approximately 8 miles from the beach and are conveniently located between the Florida Turnpike and Interstate 95, exit Atlantic Avenue. Visit the Map & Directions page for more information.

Group Rates

Available for groups of 15 or more but MUST be pre-arranged with our group tours office.  Please call 561-495-0233 x210. Group rates are below:
  • $13*/adults (ages 18+)
  • $8*/children (ages 6-17)
    *Tax included. Children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult during their visit to the Morikami.

Cornell Café

The Morikami experience is not complete without a stop at our Cornell Café. The Cornell Café serves a Pan-Asian inspired menu from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Tuesday – Sunday.

Morikami Museum Store

The Museum Store has a wonderful variety of authentic gift items from Japan and Asia.  Select from exhibit-related pieces, silk & cotton robes and jackets, ceramics, lacquerware, Japanese snacks & drinks, special occasion & note cards and books, rainchains and windbells.  The assortment is constantly changing!  Shop in the Museum Store without paying admission (admission must however be paid to visit the gardens, galleries & café). Garden Audio Tour (English & Spanish)

Don't forget to take advantage of our self guided garden audio tour, available at the Museum Store.  ($3 per wand, FREE for museum members). Our audio garden tour takes you through the history and design of our gardens and features information about the museum's history. There is also a family fun track with commentary, questions and ideas geared towards children.


Due to the delicate nature of our manicured Japanese gardens, picnics are not allowed inside the grounds.  However, picnic pavilions are available at Lake Biwa and Saki Pavilion located just outside the museum & gardens.

Accessibility & Special Assistance

The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is wheelchair accessible.  In accordance with the provisions of the ADA. Wheelchairs are available at no cost on a first come first served basis (however, wheelchairs are not available on festival days). Quantities are limited.

Pet Policy: Domesticated pets are prohibited inside the gates of the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens per Palm Beach County Park ordinance 2004-022 section 17.  (learn more here) Service dogs* for people with disabilities are exempt from this ordinance. Service animals are permitted with proper attire or documentation. Therapy dogs are permitted with written documentation only at the discretion of the facility.

*Service dogs must be certified.
